I have also disabled the Memory Remap Feature part of the BIOS, used for bit memory allocation, was a fix for another very similar problem. I know there a lot of similar problems out there to this. Do you suspect this is the same as the commonly reported problem? Does tend to sound a bit OTT. Sounds like you may have insufficient cooling or the card has a problem either with it's own fan or the temp sensor. Mind you, if you're not suffering any lockups, then it could be considered fine.
