Marzuolo Archaeological Project Field School. Necropoli del Vallone di San Lorenzo Orozmani 1. Always let someone know where you are. If you wish to wander off for a closer look at something, always tell someone before doing so. If you are going to be alone for an extended period of time, advise someone where you will be, and what time you will return and make sure that you return on, or before that time.
DO NOT go off alone for more than 30 minutes. It does not have to be 40 degrees for dehydration to begin. As most field exercises will require you to walk for extended periods of time, dehydration can happen in any weather. Please ensure that you carry at least 1 litre of water in a sturdy container. If you suffer from any of these symptoms, stop what you are doing and advise the closest person to you immediately.
Again, STOP and stay where you are. This will increase the onset of shock and accelerate envenomation. If you or anyone near you is injured, advise a supervisor immediately. If the situation becomes life-threatening, use your mobile phone to call for help. If you do not have service you can still call emergency services from your mobile phone on it may be a good idea to save this number to your contacts.
This is a free call. Please ensure that you wear your seat belt at ALL times when in a moving vehicle. This applies whether you are a driver or passenger. If you are the driver of the vehicle, it is your responsibility to make sure that ALL passengers are wearing a seat belt before you set off, as you are the one who is in control of the vehicle; you are the one who will incur any fines.
It is up to the driver to obey the law. Anyone caught speeding by the police WILL be responsible for any fines and any action taken thereafter. We want to better understand the lives of people living in the Monroe School neighborhood by exploring one of the houses that once stood there. Research goals will be shaped by input from the National Park Service and their goals for interpretation at the park. When people visit the site, many are unaware or understand the full history of the Monroe School property prior to the Brown v.
Board decision. This project will assist the NPS to tell more of that story and learn more about the community that surrounded this school.
